Summary:
|
Annually, we renew our agreement with CAMSA/Microsoft. This agreement allows us to take advantage of Enterprise licensing price levels to greatly reduce our costs for licensing with Microsoft. The licensing covers items such as our Servers, computer logins, MS Office programs and more. This agreement has been in place for several years and was constructed utilizing the large numbers of our California based CITE (formerly CETPA), memberships to secure discounted pricing with Microsoft.
This item is typically on our annual list, but this year the contract was up for renewal, and a new company, SoftChoice, was awarded the contract. This is a general housekeeping item for board approval for the current renewal. This vendor will be added to the annual renewals list.
